Owen SullivanOwen Sullivan has worked as a paralegal for Stulberg & Walsh, LLP since June of 2022. In that capacity, Mr. Sullivan works directly with the attorneys, assisting them in their daily practice, including case research, motion practice, and trial practice.

Before joining Stulberg & Walsh, Mr. Sullivan interned for the Ontario County Office of the Public Defender, where his primary responsibilities included conducting case law research, assisting with trial preparation, and managing Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests for the office. He has also served as a legal journalism intern for the Evan Guthrie Law Firm, and in this position produced research articles for Prelawland.com on topics which included the history of private prisons in the United States, cash bail reform, and the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on New York State law.

Mr. Sullivan graduated magna cum laude with distinction in all subjects from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University with a double major in Economics and Philosophy, and with a minor in Law & Society. Mr. Sullivan also received the award of honors from the department of philosophy for his contributions to the department. While at Cornell, he worked for four years as a research assistant for Cornell University’s Citizen Science department on a project which sought to improve practices within community-engaged scientific research and served as the Vice President of Public Relations for the Cornell Fashion Collective. Mr. Sullivan particularly enjoyed his coursework about philosophy of punishment, philosophy of law, and distributive justice.

In his free time, Mr. Sullivan enjoys passionately supporting his favorite football team, the New York Jets, through their occasional ups and frequent downs. He also likes to play and watch No-Limit Hold ‘Em poker, exercise, and read.
